I heard a lecture by Nuala Ni Dhomhnaill (sp?) last month, and during the Q & A period a woman in the class asked about the word 'gorm' and how it really couldn't be translated into English. Nuala started to reply, then paused, and said 'you've given me an idea for a new poem'.
