Alas, Scotland does not believe - translation

Ní chreideann Alba fa-ríor
go dtig tonn d'fhuil Airdríogh
san abhlunn mar as dleacht dí
adhruim don reacht do-rinne

Alas, Scotland does not believe, as she ought,
that the blood of the High King
enters into the host,
but I cling to the law He made.
