Time for a little bit of culture:  A proselytising Protestant minister decided that the poet Raifteirí would be a valuable catch, as he would then compose poetry which would encourage other catholics to convert. Realizing what was happening, Raifteirí composed an impromptu flame:

An Eaglais Ghallda
Antaine Ó Reachtabhra   (1784-1835)
Amhráín agus Dánta
eag., Ciarán Ó Coigligh
Baile átha Cliath: An Clóchomhar, 1987
  The English Church - translation

Fág uaim do eaglais ghalla
Is do chreideamh gan bonn gan bhrí
Mar gurb é is cloch bonn dóibh
Magairlí Anraí Rí

The English Church

Away with your English religion,
And your baseless meaningless creed,
For the only rock it is built on,
Are the bollocks of Henry the Eighth.
