Charter:
This group is for the binary posting of PC adventure games and the discussion
of related topics.
Off-topic materials, such as any other type of game, advertising (spam),
excessive posting, virus-infected binaries, and binary cross postings are
prohibited.
- Policy on multigenre games: Multigenre games are acceptable so long as the
adventure elements are by far the predominant ones.
- Policy on reposts: Wait at least 7 days for a full repost. PARS and
fills may be posted at the poster's discretion.
- Crossposting: Since ABGA is not a widely-carried group, crossposting to
alt.binaries.zines will be permitted when requested. Crossposting to any
other groups will not be tolerated.
- Binary postings allowed: Images, rips, disk versions of adventure games,
scans of covers and labels are welcome.
- Age limit on games: None; new releases and old classics are equally welcome.
- Post identification: Either the headers, an nfo file, 0/1 file, or support
file should contain information allowing one to identify the game in English.
If the archive is password-protected then the password should be included
in the nfo file.
- Posting messages: Try to be courteous, tolerant of newbies, and grateful to
those who share their games here. General netiquette should be observed at
all times; the following items will not be tolerated:
* Billboarding - otherwise known as vertical spam
* POSTING IN ALL CAPS
* Any form of !!!!!! Top-Posting!!!!!!!
Abuse of policies/charter: Incur the wrath of the other posters. Serious
violations may be reported to the offender's nsp and/or isp.
The A.B.G.A. FAQ is intentionally short. Any questions or concerns not
specifically addressed here can be asked in the group.

(avonturenspelen) voor PC en discussie over verwante onderwerpen.
Onderwerpen die off-topic zijn, zoals elk ander type spel, adverteren
(spam), bovenmatig posten, virus-besmette binaries , en
binary crossposten zijn niet geoorloofd.
Beleid inzake multigenre-spelen: Multigenre-spelen zijn aanvaardbaar mits
de avontuur elementen veruit de overhand hebben.
Beleid inzake repost: Wacht minstens 7 dagen op een volledige repost. PARS
en fills mogen gepost worden zoals de poster het verkiest.
Crosspost: Aangezien ABGA niet door iedere server wordt ondersteund, zal
crossposting aan alt.binaries.zines worden toegelaten als er om gevraagd

Toegestane binary post: Images, rips, CD-versies van avonturenspelen,
scans van hoesjes en labels zijn welkom.
Leeftijdsgrens van spelen: Geen; zowel de nieuwe versies als de oude
klassiekers zijn even welkom.
Post identificatie (ENGELS-talig): Ofwel de headers, een nfo-bestand, 0/1-bestand
of
support-bestand moet informatie bevatten die iemand toestaat het spel te
identificeren. De VOERTAAL in deze groep is ENGELS. Als het archief
beschermd is met 'n wachtwoord, dan moet de nfo het wachtwoord bevatten.
Misbruik van Charter/beleid: Haal je de woede van andere posters op de
hals. Ernstige schendingen kunnen gemeld worden bij de nsp en/of isp van de
overtreder.
Posten van berichten: Probeer beleefd te zijn, tolerant t.o.v. newbies en
dankbaar tegenover degenen die hun spellen hier delen Algemene netiquette
moet op elk moment worden waargenomen; de volgende punten zullen niet
getolereerd worden:
