Barbra Streisand's Third Television Special
THE BELLE OF 14TH STREET
Broadcast on CBS October 11, 1967
Original Ellbar Productions working show script, rehearsal and studio schedules, show personnel contact sheet, and 8" x 10" photograph of Jason Robards and The Beef Trust Girls performing "Apple Of My Eye."
This memorabilia belonged to show cast member Barbara Terry, one of the Beef Trust Girls who performed "You're The Apple Of My Eye" with Jason Robards.
Script includes the song John Bubbles was apparently originally supposed to do, "Make My Cot Where The Cot Cot Cotton Grows" as well as a short encore number "Nobody" — and his dance is referred to as "Egg Dance" not "Chicken Dance."
Also includes the complete script for the radically shortened "The Tempest" sequence.
The "Apple Of My Eye" pages were annotated by Barbara Terry with singer notes.
If you read this far, Barbara Terry has an interesting piece of trivia for you. When Beef Trust Girl Harriet Gibson guest-starred as an obese circus performer in a 1979 episode of Little House On The Prairie titled "Annabelle" — she wore the same Beef Trust Girl outfit she wore in The Belle Of 14th Street!
