I heard from somebody on this list, that Camp Videogasm was expecting those who used their showers, to bring their own water. This raised the question of how it is, that those who would need the facilities, would be able to do so. Well, it turned out that this was news, to the folks at Camp Videogasm, who most certainly do provide water for both drinking and bathing to those who have paid their membership fees and joined. This was just another silly rumor, one that has caused these folks a few headaches, apparently, as people have been writing them to find out if this is true. Here's the letter one of them sent, forwarded with his permission. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Wed, 15 Aug 2001 20:36:56 -0400 (EDT) From: Andrew Wing Subject: Re: Videogasm, showers, and a BIG problem > I asked before, about a camp that, for $ 50, would give you access > to shower facilities for a week. Hi Joe, A point of clarification. Videogasm camp dues ($75 per person) covers water, shelter, some food staples and use of the shower. If you want to buy water through us, then please call me or Ed so we can pick up some extra water in Reno. We buy from Simply Water or Albertsons right across the street. I'm sure we could get a few containers for you. You wouldn't have to join the camp for $75 as well as pay for your Green Tortise stuff. My sister gave me one of those little showers for a Bday present and I'll have it on playa, too. Hope this helps! Andy Replies Name/Email Yahoo!
