However, over-sensitivity aside, he did have some valid implicit points. Chief among them is that a lot of us KNOW each other face-to-face - we've been doing this for a while. We KNOW how we think and how we react and what we can say and what we can get away with saying/doing/implying to one another. I fully knew that y'all would understand where I was coming from with my examples of 'lewd acts' that he took so personally. It never occurred to me that someone on this list would not 'get it', and certainly not that he'd think it a personal attack. But he was new, and not of the same mindset that we are used to, from years of associating in person AND virtually. In a way, it is cliquish, a form of mental inbreeding. I can see his point. With familiarity come shortcuts, as you know you don't have to spell everything out. In several ways, we were pretty damn harsh. Yes, he wasn't exactly Mr Happy either... but the apparent pack-of-wolves aspect to it could definitely put him on the offensive. Neither side was wholly blameless. Take from this what you will... just be aware. Not everyone on this list has been around for a while and 'gets' it. This little slugfest may have convinced a few they need to lurk a little deeper into the corners. I hope not. -DaveD Replies Name/Email Yahoo! ID Date Size 16790 Re: Post-mortem...
