I read off of the Greeters List that the only arrests that stuck from 2000 were a couple of assaults, and, yes, campers, the guy who whipped it out and pissed in front of the cop, onto the playa. I think everyone here needs to understand that NUDITY is not indecent exposure. Seeing a cop, going out of your way to piss in front of him, is, "indecent"according to the letter of the law. 99.999% of the time walking around nude is not an issue, blatent cop insulting in any fashion is going to put you on their shit list. And if you happen to be doing something remotely close to breaking a law, well, duh! They are going to arrest you! Even if it does not stick, they will because you DISRESPECTED them. Whether or not you LIKE this, is another discussion entirely which I am not about to entertain...but this IS the way it is, everywhere in America, and on the playa as well. The moral? Don't HURT anyone else, and BE RESPECTFUL to those around you - all those around you, including John Q. Law, and to the playa, which if you respect, you won't piss on. Had any of these people done this, there would not have been an issue.
