That was your idea of a rant ? Good luck dealing with life, lady, if you think that letter was harsh. Technically, I could get this list thrown off of Yahoogroups, for this, given the T.O.S. violation. Is it legally actionable ? You bet. Have I written to either Yahoo, or an attorney, at this point ? No. I have done nothing more than explain the circumstances, and what I found objectionable about them. I am dealing with you folks, as a friend would, were another friend to step out of line. Shall we keep it on that level ? > I am sorry to have to speak to you this way, because I anticipate my words > offending you. Disappointing me ? Yes, because you seemed much more intelligent than this, in person. Offending me ? Not possible, at this point. I find myself considering the source. > On the contrary your close minded views have irritated me. Pot. Kettle. Black. You haven't read and thought about a word I've said, and yet you are ready to comment on my "close mindedness". > if you are this concerned about your peepee being seen then keep it clothed. Case in point. When did I say that I minded people seeing me naked ? By now, I would think that it would be pretty clear that I don't. But, there are levels of exposure. And that point has been covered, with nothing more in the way of rebuttal from you, than a mindless parroting of what other people have written, so let's move on. > Burning corn happened in the spirit of burning man, that is posted on the > front page of the Burning corn website. And as long as I'm asked, and given the freedom to say "no" if I don't like a particular suggestion, I have no complaints. My boundaries are pretty flexible, and take in a lot, but they aren't non-existent. So, ask. What's the problem with that ? > being spontaneous is > one thing, dealing with the after math is an entirely differnt experience, > and I speak from experience. > I do thank you for making the journey from > your little white box, and joining us in natures large box of many elements. The little box of downtown Chicago ? Hon, I don't know where you got the idea that I'm living in a cocoon, but Chicago sure doesn't qualify. > Good luck to you in what you choose to make of your future. Good luck to you, and your patronizingly close minded attitude. Try not to bump your head when you fall off of those high heels. Something tells me that you need every neuron you can salvage. > to Phil: I loved looking at the images, and my opinion prior to reading > naked guys post is that one would only be able to identify the persons if > they had been at the event. Tastfully done. Did you use a photoshop filter > or blur effect? Or was nature helping you out with the blurring? (Rolls eyes) It was dark, Kristen. This makes for a long exposure time, and automatic blurring. The "trick" would lie in avoiding blurring, when people are moving quickly. OK, guys. Time for a short story. Guy I know is running for an office in Mensa. Silly personal politics threatens to derail his campaign. I'm a little worried about the guy, so I talk to him, to see how he feels. He's never felt better. As he explains "If I get elected -- COOL ! If not - - COOL !" And I saw what he meant. Any outcome was one to be embraced, because it told him who it was that he was dealing with, and that told him how much the outcome really mattered. I had a really good time at Burning Corn, this time. If you guys want to be friends, that's fine with me. I'll be very happy to go there with you, but friendship starts with respect, and that means respecting each other's rights. And their quirks, too, because the willingness to do that is what real open mindedness is about. But, if you'd rather be enemies, than deal with a reasonable complaint, then good riddance. Sorry I have to put it that harshly, but that's how it is. If I'm looking for headaches, they're easy enough to find at home. I don't need to go to Ohio for that. Enough said ? Guys, get that picture down. Whether you appreciate it or not, right now, I've been damn nice about it, up to this point. I'm a nice guy. But I'm not a cream puff, and there are limits. So, back off.
