Here is how I got the idea that MOST (not all) homosexuals are anti- prostitution. Did you ever hear of the "Reverend" Robert W. Wood, formerly pastor of the Zion United Church of Christ, Newark New Jersey and spiritual leader of the Mattachine Society of New York? The Mattachine Society of New York was one of only three homosexual organizations on the East Coast of the United States back in 1964.

In 1964 I had been a member of an organization called the New York City League for Sexual Freedom. This had been an organization of ALL sexual orientations which advocated and demonstrated for the rights of ALL sexual minorities. For example, on 8/23/64, I was the central figure in a demonstration for decriminalization of prostitution. On 9/19/64 I was one of the participants in a demonstration for homosexual rights.

At that time there was only one homosexual rights organization in New York City, namely the Mattachine Society. The next thing that happened was that a large number of homosexuals and lesbians from the Mattachine Society joined the New York City League for Sexual Freedom and took over. They elected their people to lead the New York City League for Sexual Freedom. Under their leadership, the League stopped advocating decriminalization of prostitution and, instead, began to advocate homosexual child-molesting. That's when I started to be homophobic. I decided, as a means of protest, to mail out a large number of postcards denouncing one of the leaders of the Mattachine Society. I decided to denounce the Reverend Robert W. Wood of the United Church of Christ. He agreed with many people that the world is overpopulated, but then he went on the preach the doctrine of homosexual superiority. He said that God had created homosexuality in order to counter the population explosion. On the way he also said that abortion and sterilization were immoral. And, of course, like most homosexuals, he argued that prostitution was also immoral.

I specifically denounced him for insinuating that Jesus Christ was a homosexual. I think it is obvious that when a Christian clergyman claims that Jesus Christ was a homosexual, that clergyman is claiming that homosexuals are morally superior to heterosexuals.

Anyway, as far as I am concerned, there are only three male homosexuals who do not take the attitude that they are somehow morally superior to heterosexuals. One of them is Roedy Green. Another one is Randolph Wicker. And the third one is Quentin Crisp.

On page 28 of the NY Daily News dated 4/7/86, there is a column by Cal Thomas, a conservative (to say the least) commentator. The column sez, in part:



Why not repeal laws against statutory rape, even if both parties consent? Why not similarly repeal laws against incest, prostitution and even drug use, if done in private?

Tom Stoddard, executive director of the Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, an organization representing homosexuals, says he would still favor such laws because they seek to prevent "dangerous things" and engaging in such behavior causes "harm to others."


Have you people forgotten the message I posted just a couple of weeks ago? On that occasion, in message # 24433, I pointed out that former NY City Mayor Koch had, in a letter to the NEW YORK POST, compared prostitutes & johns to "garbage in the streets" & "odor, disease, and rats." I didn't give the date in that previous message, so here it is. The source is the NEW YORK POST, dated 10/9/79, Page 25. I assume that this newspaper is available in the newspaper branch of the New York Public Library. If not, I can upload it on request.

Here's an even worse example taken from a book titled: THE ASBESTOS DIARY. THE ASBESTOS DIARY is a book of homosexual fiction which was advertised in The New York Times Book Review repeatedly during the summer and fall of 1966 starting on 7/3/66. The book describes a fictional incident in which the hero beats a woman prostitute into a state of unconsciousness, and then performs an act of obscene mutilation on her unconscious body.

I believe that THE ASBESTOS DIARY is presently available in more than one homosexual bookstore in New York City. I do know that this book is or was on the official list of recommended books of NAMBLA.

This type of book encourages killers of prostitutes.
