I certainly support you on this issue of spam abuse by one Fred Cherry. I have sent my complaints to the above addresses. I recommend everyone else fed up with this idiot in diapers, to do same.

In fact, now that you've given a list of the email addresses to send complaints...I will provide a form letter for anyone to pop to all of these addresses:

Please regard this message as a serious complaint about one of your customers: Fred Cherry < john1@world.std.com>. He is constantly flooding numerous newsgroups--especially the ones for lesbians and gays--with not only highly bigoted, offensive remarks that are often violently suggestive--but with messages that are totally inappropriate for these newsgroups.

He has irritated, upset, and offended many, many people, not just gays...and you are likely to receive a plethora of complaints against him. You can see for yourself that I am not making this up, or have a personal vendetta against this foolish man. Just go to Deja News Usent Database search page at:

In the "author" box (near bottom of left column) type in "john1@world.std.com". Then in the right column select "complete archive", "100", "forum", and "concise". You will then see how extensive, intrusive, and numerous are his inappropriate and spammed articles.

His cross-posting consistantly violates netiquette by not limiting crossposts to five or fewer newsgroups, as well as not respecting the topicla nature of each group. Here is a typical sample of Mr. Cherry's crosspost header:
