Hello and welcome to my website where you can see all the kanzashi I've made, which are traditional Japanese hair ornaments that was popular in the Edo period of Japan and are making a comeback among young women.

Please click on one of the pictures below to view that gallery. Each of the flowers in the kanzashi featured are hand-made by me as well as the construction of the kanzashi itself.

These kanzashi typically have one, maybe two flowers each and are perfect for adding a little bit of decor to accent your hair. They can also be used to accompany a larger kanzashi for a greater effect.

Medium gallery Medium kanzashi
Medium-sized kanzashi usually range from three to five flowers and have more diverse decorations such as stems of petals or leaves coming off from them. Where most of the small kanzashi come on hair pins, these kanzashi have hair combs as their base.

Large gallery Large kanzashi
Large kanzashi are the most complex I have showcased here. I usually make several flowers for one and often attach long lines of petals and other decorations. These are perfect for that special dinner or any other fancy occasion.
