The purpose of this page is to provide Biblical support for my claim that you should NOT regard Steve Winter as a teacher of the Bible. The Bible says about ministers:
And the Lord's bondservent must not be quarrelsom, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.
-- II Timothy 2:24-25, NASB

Mr Winter continues to maintain that everyone who disagrees with him is a Lying, Dirt, False Christian Scum (LDFCS). I will show here that Mr. Winter is not behaving as a Christian should, no matter what he says about it. He claims his behavior is consistent with Scripture, but I say it is not.
By their fruits you will know them.
-- Matthew 7:20 NASB
This statement, by Jesus, tells us how to discern a true Christian from a false one. I ask the reader to examine the posts of Steve Winter and apply he statements found in the Scriptures Steve Winter.
Fruits, or behavior, are the proper judge of the man. The standards of Scripture are clear...
...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control...Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
-- Gal 5:22:25, NASB
On the other hand, the deeds of the flesh are also clear...
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkeness, carousing and things like these...those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
-- Gal 5:19-21, NASB
The examination of posts by Steve Winter should show that he does not exhibit a spirit of love, a spirit of kindness, a spirit of gentleness or a spirit of joy. On the other hand, he does exhibit the deed of enmity, the deed of strife, the deed of outbursts of anger, the deed of disputes, and the deed of dissensions. In other words, Steve Winter does not exhibit the fruits of the Spirit. As Jesus said, by their fruits you shall know them.
Someone will, of course, be concerned that this is judging in violation of Matthew 7:1ff, but I say it is simply holding Mr Winter to the measure of Scripture. The warning in Matthew 7:1, taken in whole context, is that we will be judged by the standards that we hold others to. I expect to be judged by these standards.
Let us look further into how Christians should behave, especially with regards to speaking...
And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as threat which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell... With it, we bless the Lord and Father; and with it we curse men, who have been made in the image of God; from the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way. Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water? Can a fig tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Neither can salt water produce fresh.
-- James 3:6-12, NASB
According to James, a believer ought not to be cursing another man, since it is with the same voice that he blesses God. But this blessing cannot be true if the curses continue? James is teaching the same thing that Jesus is....
You will know them by their fruits...Even so, every good tree bears good fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce good fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. -- Matt 7:16-20, NASB
Steve Winter does not bear good fruit. As such, he cannot possibly be a good tree. Paul and James have given us standards by which to Judge. Jesus has affirmed that a good tree cannot bear good fruit. So then, as it is written, "By their fruits you will know them."
Steve Winter's theology is not at issue. We can debate that until the cows come home. What is at issue is his presentation. How are we to present the Gospel? Believers are instructed to "Preach the truth in love" (Eph 4:15). This is not what Steve Winter is doing. And it's obvious.
This is call for Steve Winter to repent, acknowledge his sins of enmity, strife, cursing and dissensions. If he continues in his ways, we can only judge by Christ's own standard:
"By their fruits you will know them"
