It should also be noted that John Chrysostom was absolutely not a believer in Sola Scriptura, for he accepted the traditions of the Church and taught them to his flock. Again, this point does further damage to Grace Church and all those who hold to their doctrine (of which MacArthur is one - the current pastor of Grace Church of DuPage, Scott Ardivanis, was a student of MacArthur at Master's Seminary, as well as a former associate pastor of Grace Community Church, where John MacArthur is the pastor/teacher.
