moved files

I have moved mp3-files with the Windows explorer.
What is the best way to update their file paths in list view?

thanks,
Harald

Re: moved files

If you only moved a few paths, the easiest way is to just edit the path in MP3-Boss -- it will see that the original file doesn't exist and then update to the new path.  Once you've done the first in the list, then you can "CopyDown" the new path.

If you don't mind losing any data you've entered into MP3-Boss -- then you can simply use the Utilities/Cleanup/Records to delete the missing files, and then re-scan so you'll have the files in their new locations.

Instead of using Windows explorer, I'd recommend using MP3-Boss -- either manually, or with Auto-Move.  MP3-Boss always checks that there wasn't a corruption problem during the move (unlike Explorer).
