Move error files

Is there a way to have it move skipped files to a folder of their own.

Re: Move error files

Sounds like something I should add -- but it isn't there now.

Would this be for those files that were identified as problems during scanning?

The other thing that I've wanted to add to that "Skipped Files" list is to let you delete the files...since most of them really are garbage/corrupted files.

Re: Move error files

Well the skipped files are "error" files in my eyes, (A mp3 with errors) It would be nice to move them out of the main music directory so I can use them as a guide on what needs to be re-ripped.

Re: Move error files

I had planned to add features to that Skipped Files list -- PLAY the file, DELETE the file -- and I could add MOVE too.  Would that be OK?

Or is it important that they are auto-moved to a particular directory during the scan?

Re: Move error files

If there was a move option that would be fine. Right now what I am doing is a multistep process

1) Drop folders I want to add into d:\sort_music
2) Let MP3 Boss run it's scan
3) Rename the songs in Artist - Song format
4) Have MP3 Boss Move the files based on artist to d:\music\Artist
5) use xxcopy to move the files that are skipped to d:\problem_files so I can go back and re-rip my cd for the bad files
