Updating Directories

Hi John,

Currently I have all my mp3 files located in one directory. I have begun to create seperate directories by artist or album. MP3 currently stores the Orginal how Do I ge MP3 to Update to the correct directory. Without rebuilding the database from scratch.

:)Thanks J

Re: Updating Directories

The best way to move the files into artist/album directories is to use the "AutoMove/AutoRename" button in MP3-Boss List View -- you can filter the List View, and include a bunch of requirements on when MP3-Boss should automatically create/move the files into directories.

However, if you've already moved the files and MP3-Boss no longer points to the correct location, simply update the path within List View and the path will be updated.  You can sort and use CopyDown if you need to make changes to a large number of files.
