Updated Tag Information

Hi John,

I use a product call MP3 Clinc to update MP3 Tags. i.e delete a comment add a comment update a genre ect. I do some database stuff in MP3(for reporting). How do I update the database to reflect the new addtions or subtractions without rebuilding from scratch

smile
Thanks J

Re: Updated Tag Information

I assume you use MP3 Clinic because it writes to ID3v2 tags (and Mp3-Boss doesn't yet)?

You can easily scan just a few directories, and uncheck "check for new files ONLY".  This will re-read the tag information.  The only problem comes if you've updated information in the MP3-Boss database, and not updated the tags...then you might lose some of the new information when you re-scan the tags.
