category

When I began to sort my mp3files, I made a big mistake.

I used user_category1 for genre.
What can I do do put the Information from user_category to genre (and use the genre ID.

When I filter the categories in list view for "bastard pop", it only shows folk punk songs.

Greetings
Harry

Re: category

Can you send me an example file?

MP3-Boss makes sure that Genre can only be a number between 0-255, and all of those categories are pre-defined (or empty).

If the problem is that you've re-named the Genre categories, then go to Utilities/Review/User_Category and click the Reset button to reset the table to the original descriptions.  You are able to edit the names in User_Category so that you can make them either more descriptive, or appropriate for your language -- but because the Genre is pre-defined, it isn't a good idea to change the meaning of the Genre.
