Any problems with v0.670?

Please let me know if you find any problems with this release -- it would be great if I can make it the official release in a few days.

Thanks!
John

Re: Any problems with v0.670?

Didn't you have this same problem with Winamp loading a couple of revisions ago?

Please send me your mp3boss.log file -- it should give me some details.

Thanks,
John

Re: Any problems with v0.670?

Harald,

From the logfiles, it looks like you were getting the same error in v0.669 and v0.670 -- do they behave differently?

Everyone else,
Anybody else seeing this same Winamp error:
NoWinAmp: (76) Path not found
...in the mp3boss.log file?

Re: Any problems with v0.670?

It turns out this problem was due to a registry error -- probably Winamp was in the registry in multiple locations ... and MP3-Boss checked the first (incorrect) location for the location of the user file.  I'll see if I can fix this in v0.671 (check multiple locations before giving the error).

Re: Any problems with v0.670?

What happens when you press the F1 key?  Are you told that WinHelp isn't available?

Winhlp32 is not distributed with VISTA -- you need to get it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta … laylang=en

A description of the problem, and other ways of working around the problem:
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article07-500

I'm not aware of any problem with WinXP.

Thanks,
John
