Searching in mp3list with the cursors causes sometimes a glitch in the music.

Re: Glitch

What do you mean by "with the cursors"?  Do you mean just using the arrow keys to move up and down the list, or something different?

Re: Glitch

Does this only happen when you are moving down in the list?

Does it only happen when you are moving between records that are in different directories (so the information on the lower-right side changes)?

Does it only happen when there are graphics in the directory?

Re: Glitch

I wasn't able to reproduce it here...and then forgot about it. Sorry.

What operating system?  What is your output plug-in (DirectSound or WaveOut), and what is your buffering (e.g., the default 2s)?

I assume this is a new problem?  Do you see it only with MP3-Boss/Winamp?  Or do you also see it when moving cursor in a program like Microsoft Word?

Re: Glitch

I have Vista, Direct Sound output plugin, buffering 5s.
I have a laptop, 2048 mb Ram and a Core 2 duo with 2Ghz

I noticed a glitch, when I write this lines too so I think this is a winamp or sound driver problem.

I have a hercules jukebox mk2 jukebox, perhaps this sound driver isnīt ok.

Re: Glitch

What version Winamp.  I am using winamp 5.551 (but haven't seen winamp buffering problems for a long time).

I use Directsound output with 2s buffer and 500ms pre-buffer.  I've used WaveOut as well without problem.

Sometimes problems like this are due to winamp plugins.  What plugins do you use?  You might want to remove the plugins (or see if other people have reported problems with a specific plugin).
