Auto tag

How do I get it to fix the tag if the info is missing ?

I read where it will goto the net and pull info but how do I do that ?

Re: Auto tag

By default, MP3-Boss will go to the net and find information for any songs that don't have [any information.  If the song already has even a partial (or incorrect) tag, it won't automatically update the tag.  It behaves this way so that the scan process can't lose any custom information you've entered.

It is also possible to tell Mp3-Boss to lookup information for every song, even if the song already has tag information.  The only disadvantage is that MusicIP scanning can take ~30s per song (instead of 0.1-0.2s per song for normal scanning).

If MusicIP matches the song, there is a clickable link to detailed information on the web about that song & album (in the song Detail view).

In many cases, even if there is only partial information about a song, Mp3-Boss can make a good guess for the artist.  This artist match can be seen when you look at the Artist Fixup screen -- you can click to go to the matched artist and then manually update the tag information.

I haven't added a button yet to tell Mp3-Boss to pull MusicIP (or artist) information about a specific song.
