Please send me your mp3boss.log file.

Are you running v0.672?

It turned out that this was a problem with one of the libraries -- in this case there was an:
Audiogenie2.ocx
instead of the required
Audiogenie24.ocx

...unfortunately, because it is simply a different version of the same library, the verify registry information said OK:
OK AUDIOGENIELib     2.3.3.0  C:\WINDOWS\system32\AUDIOG~1.OCX

You really should see:
OK AUDIOGENIELib    2.4.1.0 C:\WINDOWS\system32\audiogenie24.ocx

Once you unregister audiog~1.OCX and register audiogenie24.ocx ... the problem goes away.  To do that:

After rebooting your computer but before starting MP3-Boss, try the following:

From Start/Run
Regsvr32 /u c:\windows\system32\audiog~1.ocx
(you should get a message that unregister succeeded).

Then, copy audiogenie24.ocx into your c:\windows\system32 directory and then from Start/Run type:
Regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\audiogenie24.ocx
(you should get a message the register succeeded)

It appears that screen resolution (or placement of the utilities form on-screen) can cause this problem.  I have created a v0.674 release that appears to fix the problem (but pops up an extra dialog box).  I expect the next release to resolve this completely.

If you have this problem, please let me know and I can send you the v0.674 release.
