How to reinstall

I had to format and reinstall o/s ...ugh!!!

Now how to reinstall MP3B?   I, fortunately, saved C;/Program Files, which contained MP3B to an external drive.  I installed a version of MP3B and then copied what I thought was the files needed to new program directory.

First thing I noticed was that the Total Time display at top showed #Error.  So I stopped there  and decided to ask the question.  I can always reinstall etc.  Just need some suggestion/process.   Thanks.

Re: How to reinstall

The important files are in your MP3Boss directory...usually
c:\program files\mp3boss.

You should do the normal installation of MP3-Boss from the installation executable that you can get at http://www.mp3-boss.com

Then, you can just copy over the *.MDE and *.MDB files into the
c:\program files\mp3boss directory

...that should get you back to where you left off (although you might need to re-enter the registration information).

Re: How to reinstall

After loading version 0.57 then copying the md* database files to the MP3 Boss directory, things seemed to work normally.  [Now, the version displayed is 0.602]

Scanning is a problem.  I get this error message

"Unable to open the specified window.  Try again later.  (Err 2501)"

I uninstalled and reinstalled trying to fix, but to no avail.  Any ideas?

Re: How to reinstall

Ralph,

Sorry -- I didn't know you were using the beta.  Install the beta, then copy over those saved *.MD? files.
