v0.605 Duplicates Scan -- ActiveX component error

I have had one report of the error:

(429) ActiveX component can't create object. Occurred in Find_Duples/Click.

Any else see this error?

If you see the error...
Do you have the files:
c:\windows\system32\crcdll32.dll
c:\windows\system32\AudioGenie2.ocx

Re: v0.605 Duplicates Scan -- ActiveX component error

Hi John,
I'm getting (429) error:

OldTable(429) ActiveX component can't create object. Unable to continue. Click OK to Exit.

I have both of the files mentioned above in place ?

Re: v0.605 Duplicates Scan -- ActiveX component error

When does it happen?
Is this a new installation or an upgrade?  What version and what OS?

Please send me your MP3BOSS.LOG file.

Thanks,
John

Re: v0.605 Duplicates Scan -- ActiveX component error

Readers:
I handled this problem via email ...
MP3-Boss log didn't show anything wrong, and the ZIPped directory ran fine here.  This indicated that somehow some of the required Library files had been corrupted or deleted.

Deleting the current installation and re-installing resolved the problem.  The email chain below gives more details.

John,

I have followed your suggestions as MP3Boss is now working again with a fresh install, busy scanning my directories again now to fix the file paths that were previously saved, i'll try to get to grips with moving the files using MP3Boss instead of windows explorer !

Regards

Jon.
