The Gold Series offers machines in load capacities of 35, 40, 50, 60, 75 and 90 pounds. The two- and three-tank configurations are equipped with security floor tanks as a standard item.
Other features include the multi-program Tronic computer, the AFS filter system, a new cylinder designed for optimum cleaning and drying of garments, and a Polar solvent cooler.
The Tronic computer is standard on the SuperTec Gold and Gold Plus series. The PC-compatible computer features a larger back-lit readout with simple call-up menu-style keypad. Factory preset programs provide precise formulas for many cleaning and machine maintenance applications. Programs can be modified on site, new programs created, factory specifications restored or the entire programming set to manual operation.
The AFS filter system consists of a single eco-nylon disc filter with all-carbon filter for optimum solvent maintenance.
The AFS filter will automatically regenerate itself with clean solvent at the beginning of each load, saving time, filter and disposal costs while keeping colors bright and preventing redeposition.
Other standard features on the Gold and Gold Plus series include high capacity distillation, refrigerated solvent recovery, dual lint filters, easy service access panels, self-cleaning solvent pump, supplementary water separator and soap pump.
The company said that SuperTecGold and Gold Plus drycleaning machines are FM approved and meet or surpass EPA and OSHA requirements for solvent emissions. The company can provide buyers with leasing, financing and other purchasing assistance.

This change applies to Fabricol packaged in five-gallon pails and is consistent with the contemporary design of all Street's packaging.
The product benefits of Fabricol are the main focus of the design and appear in a gold "stepped bar." They include the following: insoluble and water-soluble soil removal; redeposition prevention; minimized linting and static shock; and predictable, uniform performance.
Fabricol can be purchased through Street's authorized distributors in five-, 20-, and 55-gallon sizes.

Heaters are available for single or three-phase operation at all common voltages and in standard density (40 watts per square inch) and low density (20 watts per square inch) in single or triple elements. The range of output capacity and heating sizes funs from 1 KW at 14" horizontal (tank length) x 36" riser height (tank depth) up to 63 KW at 67" horizontal x 48" riser.
All wetted parts are available in corrosive-resistant materials, including 304 and 316 stainless steel, Incoloy and titanium, a preset temperature sensor is standard on all models.

Fitted with the company's Aqua Mix system, the stainless steel unit is designed to optimize hot and cold water intake depending on the desired temperature. This shortens cycle times and saves energy. Four models in capacities of 60, 73, 108 and 142 pounds, with water heating by electricity, steam or gas, are available.
A partition separates soiled linen from lean linen with loading access on the soiled side and unloading on the clean side. Waster extraction is accomplished by a 31" diameter drum and a high-speed spin cycle that reaches 1,000 revolutions per minute for a G factor of 440.
The drum is fitted with sump pumps that limit tub oscillation, reduce load unbalance and limit wear on shock absorbers. No sealing base is needed since the unit is suspended by helical springs and has with hydro-pneumatic shock absorbers.
The machine is simple to program through its microprocessor controlling functions. A digital or physical locking device to prevent unauthorized use is optional.

Through the PC, the owner can change vend prices, run specials during the day, count the cycles that have run on the equipment and the money that has been deposited and perform some equipment diagnostics.
With software from IPSO USA, the Sigma Control can be used with any computer running Windows 95 or later operating system with a modem. The control links the IPSO washers and the IPSO dryers with the computer and will work with equipment activated by either coins or debit cards.
In the store, the Sigma Control permits changing the wash formulas without opening the machine. By using a portable computer, such as a laptop, with a companion magnetic infrared device, the operator can change the programmed wash formulas, water levels, wash and extract speeds.

The new models feature the Advanced Filtration and Fractional distillation system, a Realstar innovation designed for complete separation of water and solvent. That separation eliminates the growth of bacteria and odors that can occur in drycleaning with hydrocarbon solvent. Some models also feature a dynamically suspended drum cage with both springs and shock mounts for smooth, vibration-free, high-speed extraction.
The HydroClean machines achieve shorter cycle times for more production. Each model has a new cage design, an increased heating surface area with variable speed blower fan motor, and an inverter drive for a smooth run-up of the drum cage through the selected wash and spin speeds.
The HydroClean series is available in loading capacities of 35, 40, 45, 60, 80 and 95 pounds. Two-tank Spacesaver versions are available in 35- and 40-lb. capacities, with or without distillation.
All models are available in a three-tank configuration with Advanced Filtration and Fractional Distillation systems, the programmable Pulsar computer with advanced factory pre-set programs, Iceberg refrigerated solvent coolers and security floor tanks.
All HydroClean models are ETL-listed and meet or exceed EPA, DEC, OSHA and NESHAP minimum standards, the company noted.

The design incorporates several advances in corona discharge technology to achieve 20 grams/hour ozone levels per module at 5 percent by weight concentration from an air-cooled system.
The design uses a solid-state, high frequency drive module to power the corona cell. This lowers the power consumption by increasing the spark density per square inch, which in turn lowers the spark intensity. The lower the spark intensity the more efficiently energy is used to produce ozone and the less energy that is lost to heat. The new generator design focuses on a 19" rack mount concept in which the air-cooled modules can be coupled together in increments of 20 grams per hour of ozone production.
This design lets singular modules be lab top-mounted and multiple modules to be cabinet mounted. With this design up to 10 pounds per day of ozone can be produced in a 40" high x 20" wide x 20" deep cabinet.

The design keeps contaminants away from the bearing. If water passes beyond a warn seal, it is channeled away from the bearing and drained through five exit openings at the rear of the machine. The run-off area is three times larger than the area around the seals, minimizing chemical and sediment effects on the bearing and adding to machine life. Compressed air is injected through the bearing around the excluder seal which also keeps out contaminants.
For service, a removable hub swings away from the bearing shaft for easy access. Replaceable seals and sleeves can be installed through the cylinder so the machine can be put into operations quicker.
