and pick-up
BURNSVILLE, MN — Chart Industries
has introduced its eAnytime Clothes Drop-off (eACD), which are
drop-off and pick up kiosks for drycleaning, available in floor
and wall models. The units provide self-service for drycleaning
and laundering customers using a major credit or debit card or
a store's proprietary card for payment. The eACD uses the Linux
operating system and an Intel Celeron computer with touchscreen
software that can be customized to the business's needs. The
customer interface is through a wide-angle 15" color
monitor. A thermal printer provides receipts and bag
identification.
NEW YORK, NY — MBH Enterprises has introduced a new rope tie design that
features and EZE-Pull handle.
The ties were designed to save time and
labor for laundries by eliminating shake-out in preparing
shirts for finishing. The manner in which the shirts are held
together subjects them to greater mechanical action so that
shirts come out cleaner and brighter. Also, the need to scrub
collars is reduced and the problem of tangled sleeves is
largely eliminated.
MBH also said there are savings in water,
energy, supplies, sewage and labor because Rope-tie "logs"
take less volume, permitting more shirts to be included in each
wash load. The logs make it easier to load and unload the
washer while saving time because shirts come out presorted.
Stain removal video in Spanish
WILLOWBROOK, IL — Stan Caplan's stain removal video is now
available in Spanish. The 77-minute video can train
Spanish-speaking cleaners/spotters in-house at a time that is
convenient for plant operations rather than waiting for a
course at a remote location. The video can also be used for
home study.
The course, which provides a unified
approach to stain removal, was originally released in English
several years ago. The video is also available in Korean.
The English version includes a spotting
board reference chart and a comprehensive text in which each
method of stain removal is thoroughly discussed and
demonstrated along with the use of bleaching and digesters and
the basics of textile chemistry.
Caplan was the International Fabricare
Institute's chief instructor for over 10 years and taught the
Southwest Drycleaner's Association School for another 10 years.
TULSA, OK — Royaltone reformulated its triple strength Royal
Shield Stain Repellent for use on suedes, leathers and

change the color, texture, softness or suppleness of leather or
cloth and will not mat down the nap of suedes.
Royal Shield is applied a pressurized
sprayer or with an air spray gun after pressing and brushing
are complete. The repellency will last from the time it is
applied until the article is recleaned. It is available in
gallon jugs and aerosol cans.
SANTA MONICA, CA — Zerowaste's new
Model HX has three filters and electronics to let the
drycleaners know when to change filters, when to recycle the
separated perc and when to stop adding water. It also stops and
starts operating automatically.
The Zerowaste HX comes with a heat
exchanger than can be mounted 40 feet from the main Zerowaste
unit, which allows installation in an out of the way place,
such as a boiler room.
The HX can handle a gallon an hour and
will shut down when it stops sensing water.
NAPERVILLE, IL — R. R. Street & Co.
Inc. has introduced new
packaging graphics for Mulsolite, a neutral lubricant for
wetside stains.

in one-gallon containers and 15-gallon drums. Mulsolite has its
own spotting bottle and a spout for easier application.
There has been no change to Mulsolite's
formula. Street's said the product speeds water-soluble stain
removal, makes feathering easier and improves safety to fabrics
and dyes.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The Aquamat condensate
