New design for rope ties
NEW YORK, NY — MBH Enterprises has introduced a new rope tie design that features and EZE-Pull handle.
The ties were designed to save time and labor for laundries by eliminating shake-out in preparing shirts for finishing. The manner in which the shirts are held together subjects them to greater mechanical action so that shirts come out cleaner and brighter. Also, the need to scrub collars is reduced and the problem of tangled sleeves is largely eliminated.
MBH also said there are savings in water, energy, supplies, sewage and labor because Rope-tie "logs" take less volume, permitting more shirts to be included in each wash load. The logs make it easier to load and unload the washer while saving time because shirts come out presorted.

Stain removal video in Spanish
WILLOWBROOK, IL — Stan Caplan's stain removal video is now available in Spanish. The video can also be used for home study.
The course, which provides a unified approach to stain removal, was originally released in English several years ago. The video is also available in Korean.
The English version includes a spotting board reference chart and a comprehensive text in which each method of stain removal is thoroughly discussed and demonstrated along with the use of bleaching and digesters and the basics of textile chemistry.
Caplan was the International Fabricare Institute's chief instructor for over 10 years and taught the Southwest Drycleaner's Association School for another 10 years.
