PDCA announces upcoming seminars, new officers
The Pennsylvania and Delaware Cleaners Association have partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to offer a series of inspection update presentations throughout the state.
Cleaners will be able to learn what the inspectors have found during recent inspections, including the biggest mistake cleaners make and what lessons can be learned from them. The discussions will also focus on what’s on coming next for the industry and how plant owners can obtain funding for new equipment.
Many dates and cities have already been scheduled, including: March 6 in Wilkes-Barre; March 14 in Pittsburgh; March 21 in Harrisburg; April 1 in Allentown; and April 10 in Philadelphia, PA.
Prior to the inspection update programs, PDCA will be offering an all-day maintenance clinic on Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Harrisburg Hilton Hotel.
The program, which will begin at 9 a.m., will cover lubrication, air compressors, boilers, drycleaning machines and washroom technologies. At the end of the program, an open discussion will allow participants to seek answers to question on equipment problems and other related industry topics.
Cost for the seminar is $25 per person, which includes the cost for coffee and lunch, which will be served at 12:15 p.m.
For reservations, contact the PDCA office at (800) 822-7352.
