RIPON, WI — The Unimac UWPV line of washer extractors, in capacities of 35, 60, 80 and 100 pounds, now offers higher extraction speeds of up to 300 G Force for a faster cleaning process that reduces cycle time. With less moisture remaining in wash loads drying times are reduced.

UniMac washer extractors are backed by a five-year warranty on the frame, basket, shaft, bearings and seals and a full three-year warranty on all other parts.

Alliance Laundry Systems is offering domestic customers a finance rate of 1% over the prime rate for commercial laundry and pressing equipment purchased between Feb. 15 and May 15 with installation completed by June 30.

• Staticol, a charge process detergent formulated for perchloroethylene systems.

• Fabricol, a load process detergent formulated for perchloroethylene systems.

• Pinnacle, a load process detergent formulated for hydrocarbon systems.

Staticol, Fabricol, and Pinnacle can be purchased with or without the new Freshenz fragrance through any of Street’s authorized distributors in a variety of convenient package sizes.

COLD SPRING, KY — The Stamford Chemical Division of Fabritec International offers two detergents for wetcleaning garments.

DLD, or Drycleaners Laundry Detergent, is specifically used on heavily soiled items such as outerwear or raincoats. It can be used in hot, warm or cold water.

Wetcleen detergent is for fragile garments such as hand-washable sweaters. It is a no-rinse detergent and may be used in warm or cold water only.

TULSA, OK — Topog-E Gasket Co. is offering a free booklet, “Plain Facts About Improved Gaskets and Hints on Boiler Maintenance.” The booklet emphasizes safe operation of boilers with properly installed no-leak rubber gaskets. It also covers boilers from research on rubber formulations to steam-safety pop valves.

Also available at no cost is a pocket slide rule that can chart steam pressures up to 380° F with up to 1,000 psi.

WARSAW, IN — A new series of steam and hot water boilers in the size range of 6 through 25 BHP has been introduced by Bryan Steam LLC. This series, which covers the smaller range of sizes in the Bryan product line, is available in forced draft gas, oil or duel fired (gas/oil) forced models.

The DR series incorporates all of the basic features of Bryan’s larger size flexible water tube boilers with some major improvements. The new DRs make use of a tube configuration similar to the AB and RV series which not only provides for a water-cooled combustion chamber but also stimulates heat transfer and higher efficiency.

The fully package boilers are compact and require less space for installation. The removable/replaceable tubes need only 24" for maintenance access from only one side. The largest DR measure 33 7/8" wide and will fit through most standard doors.

KANSAS CITY, MO — GreenEarth Cleaning said it has reviewed the Hoyt PW Petromiser Series Generation 5 transfer recovery dryer and found that, when operated properly, it performs within the specifications required for the patented silicone-based GreenEarth Cleaning process. The Generation 5 configuration, which uses transfer recovery driers, is available through Hoyt distributors worldwide. Hoyt also is in the beta-level process for its HM-3 Series Generation 6 that will allow dry-to-dry processing using Greenearth cleaning solvent.

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Circulaire from Luwa reduces down time and labor cost for overhead cleaning, limits fire hazards and provides a cleaner working environment.

Mounted in the ceiling, the Circulaire’s air distributor oscillates up and down while the entire unit rotates 360 degrees, directing high volumes of air overhead. The continuous air movement prevents accumulations of lint and dust on overhead pipes, lights, ducts and beams.

KEARNEY, NJ — Natural Starch Plus from Metro-Chem is a blend of natural starch and thermal reactive laundry sizing designed to give excellent starching results on all types of fabrics from polyesters to cottons. It is designed to adhere to poly-blends and have better dilution characteristics than pure organic starches.

The company said Natural Starch Plus performs in all temperatures while delivering a starch feel similar to that offered by organic starches. It is also effective on table linen classifications and reduces starch build-up on pressing equipment, pads and covers.
