Double numbered shirt tag strips
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Advantage Printing Systems as added 7UP Shirt Strips to its product
line.The shirt strips are “double-double” numbered.
The three-digit order number appears twice, as does the
lot/store number, in front of the order number. Both the lot or
location and order number can be seen from either side when the
tag is folded, creating efficiencies in assembly.The tags have
neat, clean, tapered ends with room for stapling. They can be
padded or custom imprinted.

RIPON, WI — Ajax has announced its next generation of pressing
equipment, which features stainless steel pressing table for
laundry and drycleaning presses.
Ajax said the new stainless steel tables
will provide plant operators with more years of trouble-free
press operation. The smooth stainless finish reduces the risk
of damage claims due to snagged clothes.

Expanded parts inventory
HAPEVILLE, GA — Union Drycleaning Products USA has expanded the inventory capacity for
parts at their North American headquarters. New personnel with
extensive background in the drycleaning industry have
been added to the staff.
The company now accepts both American
Express and Discover credit cards for payment for parts orders
in addition to Visa and MasterCard.
Union’s Genuine Factory Parts Group
has a large inventory of parts and components for most makes of
Italian drycleaning machines, including harder to find older
models. Most in-stock parts are shipped the same day if orders
are received by 4 p.m. Eastern time. Orders over $500 are
shipped free. Overnight delivery is available on request for an
addition charge. Special prices are available for members of

Shoulder guards
IRVINGTON, NJ — The Plas-Stax for plastic shoulder guard from
Des-L Industries is designed to cost the same as paper but to
be more durable.
The shoulder guard won’t break down
while storing customers’ garments on conveyors, trucks or
in closets, Des-L said. The patented locking device slips
easily over hangers.

Soft Kleen Xtra is a new formulation that
provides high water-soluble soil removal with low redeposition,
bright whites and colors and reduced wrinkling that makes
garment finishing easier. Adco said it is also effective in
controlling static and lint.

Water-based refinishing for aniline
leathers

Leather Sheen can be mixed with the
water-based Brit-N Dyes, in the matching color, to restore both
the sheen and color to dull faded cuir savage leathers. It must
be applied with an air spray gun. It can also be mixed with the
water-based Leather Pro Leather Finish, in the matching color
to cover unremovable spots and stains and to restore worn
surface areas, such as along the edges of cuffs, hems and
lapels.
If the cuir savage surface sheen, color
and skin surface are worn, the item can be sprayed with a mix
of equal parts of Leather Sheen Clear Leather Finish, Brit-n
Dye and Leather Pro Color Leather Finish in the original
matching color. This azeotropic mix restores the surface of the
skin, the color and the sheen in one application. Leather Sheen
can be cleaned up with water before it dries.
