Cooling vests
ADVANCECORETEMP.jpg
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR — The Body Climate Control System from Advanced Coretemp Technologies helps control body temperatures for people working in hot environments. The system circulates water through a network of small plastic tubing that is sewn into a TUBEsuit, a vestlike garment that is worn by the user. The water is generated by a second system component called a Circulating Chiller.
The TUBEsuit garment couples to the Circulating Chiller through a distribution network of self-sealing quick connectors and individually controlled valves. The user controls the flow or water through each suit thus adapting the temperature to suit the situation.
The cooling system can be distributed throughout a drycleaning plant through overhead piping with tethered lines dropped to individual work stations, which allows freedom of movement and operational safety. Each workstation has a Quick Release fitting for drip-free disconnection.
A portable configuration is also available.

High pass through finishing equipment
DENVER, NC — Leonard Automatics, Inc. introduced its Image Mini Series finishers for the drycleaning and formalwear industries. High pass through rates of over 50 percent are achievable, the company said. The finishers are constructed with a stainless steel base, interior and exterior walls and ceilings for the corrosion resistance needed in a damp environment. The framework is a totally welded assembly of tube steel and angle iron.
The major change made to the equipment is the way the garment is presented for production. The tunnels process garments front to back, letting garments stay in the tunnel longer, allowing an adequate amount of steam and hot airflow for high quality with increased production.
The Image Mini Series is constructed with a standard straight through stainless steel screw conveyor for easy loading directly onto the conveyor without any auto-loading devices and unloading automatically onto a garment storage rail. The machines also have been designed for easy maintenance with all  steam parts and filters very accessible.

New features for cleaning machine line
MULTIMATIC.jpg
NORTHVALE, NJ — New features have been added to Multimatic’s SL Series drycleaning machines that resulted from merging features of the Shop Star machine with advanced features of the Legend Series.
These include a sight glass that makes it easy to visually inspect the back plate of the drum for maintenance and a spray down that helps prevent lint build-up on the back plate.
A second sight glass on the top of the machine allows visual inspection of the copper refrigeration coils. The coils can be easily replace when needed.
Also incorporated into the SL Series is the multi-language Multi-Comp microprocessor. The message center of this control shows the program in use and the machine functions in English, Korean, Spanish and other languages. The microprocessor lets the operator choose from among the pre-set programs or an individually created program. The graphic flow control shows what is happening during each phase of the cycle.
Safety features on the SL Series include electronic door sensors on the button trap, lint trap and still door and loading door to prevent machine operation if any of the doors are open. A patented basket isolator seals of the entire recovery channel, air channel, button trap and tanks from the basket to reduce solvent vapors in the basket in the shortest possible time.
