New York State Senator Joseph Bruno was recognized by the Neighborhood Cleaners Associaton as the “Best Groomed New Yorker for 2002. The senator is shown receiving a plaque at the State Capitol from Nora Nealis, NCA executive director. Also on hand from NCA were Dan Halperin (left), and William Patanian (right), president of NCA’s Capital District Chapter. NCA congratulated Sen. Bruno for his life-long commitment to a professional dress code. He remarked that he strongly believes casual clothes belong in casual settings — like barbecues and golf outings — and not in the workplace or schools.
