Texas seminars to teach creative marketing and management
National Seminars Group will be sweeping into Texas with several seminars on marketing and management early in 2003.
A “Creative Marketing Conference” will appeal to those seeking to inject a new perspective on their marketing strategies.
The two-day workshop will cover a variety of topics, including: Seven ways to maximize your marketing idea power; ten ways to jump-start ideas; how to overcome creativity block; getting in sync with your audience; pushing your customers’ buttons and making the sale; how to deliver a clear, concise message; and how to make things happen on a limited budget.
The program costs $249 per person for enrollment.
The program will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations and dates in 2003: February 3 and 4 at the Intercontinental Galleria at 2222 W. Loop S. in Houston, TX; February 4 and 5 at the Adam’s Mark Riverwalk on 111 Pecan St. East in San Antonio, TX; and February 5 and 6 at Omni Southpark on 4140 Governor’s Row in Austin, TX.
Plant owners and managers who seek to solidify their leadership skills may consider signing up for “Communicating With Tact and Skill for Managers and Supervisors.”
The day-long program emphasizes the following: how to get your point across without appearing pushy; the key to communicating successfully with all types of people in all types of situations; essential listening skills that are critical to connecting with others; and expert techniques for exerting influence on the actions and attitudes of others.
The seminar costs $179 per person.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at these locations and dates in 2003: January 10 at the Norris Conference Center at 2525 W. Anderson, Suite #365 in Austin, TX; January 22 at the Cityplace Conference Center at 2711 North Haskell in Dallas, TX; and January 30 at the Lexington Hotel Suites at 1607 N. Watson Rd. in Arlington, TX.
Lastly, a “Creative Leadership Crash Course” for those who really want to think way outside the box will be coming to El Paso  on February 7.
The workshop will focus on improving your leadership skills and increasing employee productivity.
The seminar will offer ideas on: creative discipline solutions to common problems such as tardiness, missed deadlines, absenteeism and employee squabbles; team-building games for developing a rock-solid team; morale boosters that will make the workplace more fun; how to have less stress and more fun at work; and empowering employees who show initiative and work independently.
The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Airport Hilton Hotel located at 2027 Airway Blvd. in El Paso. Enrollment is $195 per person.
