New series of vacuum tables
BLOOMFIELD, NJ — Hoffman/New Yorker had introduced a new series of vacuum tables that range from a simple 110-volt touch-up board to more elaborate boards consisting of a 1 HP combination vacuum and up-air system.
HOFFMAN
The board can be equipped with a swing-away sleever, light-touch balance irons and trolley system, overhead lighting and interchangeable right and left side pedal controls. Larger-than-normal blowers ease the work for any application, ranging from simple touch-up to completely finishing a garment. The up-air can be used to finish a lining without leaving seam impressions. Razor edge pleats or creases can be achieved without heavy irons or hard pressure.
The volume of air or vacuum is adjusted easily and a thermostatically controlled heated pressing surface eliminates wet spots to produce drier, crisper garments.
The Hoffman Finishing systems can be used in drop stores and pick up stations as well as traditional plants. The company also has a line of electric boilers that be used in conjunction with these boards when central steam is not available.

Soil release additive
TULSA, OK — Royaltone’s Soil Go soil release is a batch additive that removes heavy soil and

ring type spots and stains to eliminate prespotting, harsh brushing and costly reruns.
The company said that Soil Go is non-hazardous, will not build up, has no undesirable side effects and is color safe and swale-free for all cloth garments in drycleaning.
Its anti-static action suppresses static electric shock and linting. It is compatible with both charge and injection detergents and works with any detergent system in any drycleaning fluid. It also helps control moisture for brighter whites, rayons, linens, cottons and heavily soiled trench coats and can remove yellow stains.
When used with Royaltone Detergent Plus Conditioner, Soil Go will also work on heavily soiled and stained suedes and leathers.
Soil Go Soil Release is added to the drycleaning wheel full-strength as a batch additive for removal of heavy soil and ring-type spots and stains in the wheel on the first run.
One ounce of Soil Go Soil Release Concentrate is added to the cleaning wheel for each ten pounds of heavily soiled and stained clothes to remove heavy soil and ring-type stains in the wheel during the drycleaning cycle.

HC machine information
MULTIMATIC
NORTHVALE, NJ — Multimatic Corp. has issued new brochures in both English and Korean covering its new HC Series drycleaning machines designed for use with hydrocarbon or other alternative solvents. The brochures include photos and detailed descriptions of the machine and its major features.
The HC Series incorporates many features of cost savings and energy efficiency. The HC Series machines generate 421g at full extract. High extraction speeds and high volume air circulation reduce the total cycle time and energy consumption. The drying temperature is never higher than 155°F and a water cooled condenser maintains proper moisture in the garments after processing to help reduce finishing time.
The entire drum housing, drive mechanism, recovery head and base tank of HC Series machines are mounted on four heavy-duty suspension springs which, along with a low center of gravity, reduce vibration and the dynamic floor loading. The inverter controlled frequency drive assures gradual acceleration and deceleration of the load. Garment classification is selected on a push-button control panel.
The HC Series are available in load capacities of 35, 50 and 75 pounds and have a footprint smaller than many perc machines of comparable load capacities.
