PDCA announces in-house training program
for members
The Pennsylvania
and Delaware Cleaners Association will be offering a new in-house training program
for its members in 2003.
Professional finishing trainer Lisa Dusak
will be available to demonstrate proper finishing techniques to
member cleaners and their employees. The sessions will take
place at PDCA member plants, on their own equipment.
She will teach trainees how to increase
speed, efficiency and quality and decrease touch-ups, rejects
and wasted time.
Her initial seminars will feature general
finishing, shirt finishing, or a combination of both.
She will be available for either full-day
seminars or half-day seminars.
The discounted PDCA member cost is $300
for a full-day session. Additional costs will include
Dusak’s mileage and, when necessary, her hotel
accommodations.
Plants who wish to utilize her training
services for only a half day will play $175 plus the additional
expenses. However, they will have to coordinate a schedule with
another drycleaning plant to run concurrently on the same day,
or back-to-back with a plant in a nearby town. The additional
expenses will be split between the two plants.
For more information on the program,
contact PDCA’s office by calling (880) 822-7352.
