Eisen helps fix garment problems
Dan Eisen has compiled the skills and
knowledge of more than 30 years working with special problem
garments into a book that can help drycleaners to correct
problems and avoid paying claims for damaged garments.
“Garment Problem Solving Tips”
includes fixing for a wide range of problems, from restoring
color, repairing burns on suedes and fabrics, restoring
fluorescent dye and correcting delustering on acetates and
stretched acrylics. Removal of difficult stains, such as
iodine, argyrol and glue, are also covered.
Eisen cautions that the book is not for a
beginner. “The spotter using these methods should have a
thorough knowledge of fabrics and chemicals,” he said.
The book costs $50, which includes postage
and handling. It can be ordered from Dan Eisen at 274 NW
Toscane Trail, Port St. Lucie, FL, 34986. Eisen can be reached
by phone at (772) 340-0909 or e-mail at cleandan@adelphia.net.
