Miller’s Laundry recognized for its
customer service efforts
After being in business for over 88 years,
it’s still nice to receive a little recognition.
Miller’s Laundry & Cleaners of Hendersonville, NC, was recently
honored with the “First Citizens Bank Amazing Customer
Service Award” for going above and beyond the call of
duty in satisfying its customers.
Plant owner Jeff Miller received the award
from First Citizens’ Hendersonville Area Executive Ross
Sloan during an annual dinner hosted by the Hendersonville
Chamber of Commerce.
A committee appointed by the chamber
reviewed the nominations and selected Miller’s Laundry as
the winner.
“Miller’s Laundry &
Cleaners represents the very best in service excellence,”
said Sloan. “The First Citizen’s Bank Amazing
Customer Service Award is our way of recognizing a
Hendersonville business that shares our belief that customers
come first.”
The company has been around since 1915 and
has passed down through three generations. It has a long
tradition of catering to its customers, as well as its
employees, who make it a point to know and greet customers by
name.
The award also honored Miller’s
long-time owner, the late Bert Miller.
“Mr. Miller set the standard for
customer service,” Sloan said. “He demonstrated
that if you run a business with care and concern for your
customers and employees, it will be successful.”
Miller’s has three locations in
Hendersonville and another in Laurel Park, NC.
