TCATA pre-show seminar in Vegas
Keeping track of your inventory is a good
way to stay on top of your business’s finances.
Members of the Textile Care
Allied Trades Association will
have an opportunity to do just that when they attend a free
seminar on “cash hunting” strategies the day before
the Clean Show begins.
TCATA will host the 90-minute seminar at 4
p.m. on Sunday, August 10, in Ballroom F at the Las Vegas
Hilton.
The session will feature advice from Scott
Stratman, president and founder of The Distribution Team, Inc.,
a company that specializes in providing inventory management
training and business operations consulting.
Stratman, who graduated with an M.B.A.
from Notre Dame University, has over 20 years of consulting
experience. He spent many of those years with Andersen
Consulting and Coopers & Lybrand.
During his presentation, he will offer
ideas on purchasing, inventory management and warehouse
operations that are designed to improve a distribution
company’s net profit. He will also focus on ways
technology can be used to assist with that goal.
Admission is free to all TCATA members;
however, the association asks that everyone who is planning to
attend register by August 1.
