LIVONIA, MI — Hamilton Engineering is introducing a new line of water heating
systems known as EVO II, a complete line of stainless steel
industrial water heaters with certified operating efficiencies
of up to 99.8 percent.
BTU/hr outputs range from 600,000 to 8
million. The system is ASME certified at 160 PSI working
pressure and operated under city water pressure, thus there is
no need for open water storage and repressurization pumps.
Hamilton is also introducing its Systemax
water softening system which provides proper water treatment at
widely varying flow rates and minimizes water pressure loss
while providing low salt and water pressure usages.

The company said the the Trouser Trolley
combines the simplicity of design and the use of high strength
materials. It comes fully assembled, swivels for easy loading
and unloading, has no loose parts that require tightening or
adjustment and can hold up to 80 garments.

Disposable lint bags for all solvents
CROWN POINT, IN — Lint-All, Inc. has introduced its new disposable lint bags that
replace sponge lint-trap filters for the latest drycleaning
machines, including systems that use the alternative solvents.
Bag-Ease Disposable Lint Bags provide
several advantages over sponge lint filters. Standard sponge
lint filters need to be cleaned frequently, creating downtime
and exposure to irritating dust and solvent vapors. Used
sponge filters can trap lint and dirt in the middle of the
sponge, restricting airflow and trapping solvent inside.
The constant requirement to scrape and clean lint off of
sponge lint filters creates downtime and exposes workers to
airborne lint, dust, and solvent vapors.
Inadequate filtration with sponge filters
can allow bypass of lint to the condensing coil, which reduces
solvent reclamation and requires the difficult task of cleaning
lint and dust from the condensing coil’s delicate metal
surface
Poor filtration can also create lint
on garments, wasting valuable time removing the lint with
expensive lint brushes, shavers and rollers.
Replacing sponge lint filters with
disposable lint bags is easy. First, the filter frame is
removed from the lint trap and the sponge filter media is cut
from the middle sections of the filter frame. This keeps
the sponge seal around the outside edges of the filter frame to
stop lint from bypassing around the edges. The rectangular
shaped lint bag then slides over the metal frame, forming a
tight fabric surface. An elastic band at one end of the lint
bag secures the filter in place. The new filter is then
reinserted into the lint trap.
During the drying cycle, the drycleaning
machine’s airflow travels through the lint-trap, building
up lint on one side of the lint bag until the airflow becomes
restrictive. Each filter is used for approximately 300 to 500
pounds of cleaned garments, depending on the garment type. The
used filter is removed from the lint trap and the lint bag
slides off the frame and into a waste container. The process is
repeated with a new lint bag.
Bag-Ease Disposable Lint Bags improve
filtration to keep condensing coils clean for optimum solvent
reclamation. The dried garments also have less lint on them,
which reduces time spent brushing and picking lint off of
garments. There is also less lint build-up in the lint
trap’s ductwork, which reduces expensive machine
maintenance.
Lint-All’s filters also increase
airflow, which improves drying cycles and completely dries each
load, so drycleaning machines run more efficiently, reducing
solvent retention and odor in the garments.
With their better airflow properties
Bag-Ease Disposable Lint Bags can stay in the lint trap longer
and the lint trap door can stay closed longer, resulting in
fewer fugitive vapors escaping, which helps drycleaners comply
with regulated solvent exposure limits.
Each lint bag is sized according to the
make and model of the drycleaning machine. Many different sizes
are available, including disposable lint bags to retrofit metal
mesh lint filters..

garments to prevent bleeding, fading and dye transfer.
Soft Set can be used in any wetcleaning
machine or laundry washer by adding it to the prewash cycle of
the wetcleaning process for cloth items and for cloth items
with leather or suede trim.
Soft set is available in gallons,

The new unit features an integrated
17" LCD touchscreen, Pentium IV computer and stereo
speakers, a push-down depository door, a bag dispenser moved to
the DropOff door for ease in changing plastic bag rolls, and a
new component sliding tray, DropOff “split”
faceplate with hydraulics for ease in accessing components and
changing paper rolls. The tethered barcode reader has been
moved from the drop-off to a locked box embedded in the wall of
the pickup for driver convenience. Continuously running ceiling
fans provide improved airflow.
