Multi-solvent and perc cleaning machines
DALLAS, TX — Böwe Textile Cleaning has introduced its Sixth Generation line of drycleaning machines that feature a series of new perc models and a new MultiSolvent series for Hydrocarbon and all other chlorine-free alternative solvents.

The complete range of new commercial models offers load capacities from 30 to 75 pounds. All models can be equipped with three tanks and all feature the latest version of the CS3000 computer control, variable speed drive and an electronic balancing system. Available options include second filters, the special ECO package and the new empty soap drum alert.
The MultiSolvent machines are suitable for all Class A III chlorine-free solvents with a flash point greater than 55°C and that are lighter than water. By changing software settings, all functions and processes are adjusted for the chosen solvent.
Energy and water consumption on the Sixth Generation machines have been reduced (up to 25 percent with selected Perc models). The further optimized Böwe Power Drying System, with its smooth airflows, high extraction speed and dynamic cage perforations, makes for short cycle times. Cost can also be saved in distillation with a newly developed load level sensor which ensures that only so much solvent is pumped into the cage as is needed for the current load.
Routine machine care is simplified so that the operators’ hands remain clean, with automatic filter maintenance, self-cleaning water separators, and the optional emission-free rakeout and newly developed Interactive Maintenance System. IMS is a set of automatic maintenance programs, as well as two additional multi-function maintenance programs, that bundles maintenance steps and has them run simultaneously.
Lower heat emissions and details such as the newly designed recovery section, reduced noise level, provide improved working and environmental conditions.
The Böwe CS3000 computer control is easy to operate, even after minimal training, and has now been further enhanced by the repositioning of the key elements so that they are more easily reached by shorter staff. The large loading door, at a similarly ergonomically favorable height, allows for easy loading and unloading.

Redesigned wedding gown boxes
BUFFALO, BY — BridalKare International has introduced its redesigned gown boxing system that offers retailers a more generic product to make it easier for them to resell this service as their own.
Brides will also appreciate the stylish update and the ability to customize the display box with details specific to her wedding day.
The changes were made to address two main concerns. First, wholesale packaging must be upscale and generic. Because a retail drycleaner has to be confident reselling this product as his own, all phone numbers and other sales messages pertaining to BridalKare have been removed from this three-part boxing system.
Second, the new look was designed to present a more modern, yet classic and understated look.
BridalKare also took into consideration the wishes of the ultimate end user - the bride. For her, the actual gown itself is of utmost importance. The gown box should be elegant, but it must take a back seat and act to highlight the wedding gown. The new design features a panel on which the bride can include personal details, or even a photo, before storing the gown for another generation.
