NCA plans brainstorming
on the beach
The beaches and clear water surrounding
Paradise Island, Nassau, are normally filled with vacationers
and tourists, but from January 16-18 the National
Cleaners Association will
be on the scene with its Brainstorm with the Best seminar
program at the Atlantis Resort and Casino.
NCA plans networking opportunities, a
tabletop exhibit hall and educational programs designed to give
cleaners the tools they need in order to manage and market
their businesses more effectively and profitably.
Among the speakers signed up to attend is
industry guru Sid Tuchman, president of Tuchman Training
Systems. He will present an interactive session entitled
Focusing on Small Things for Big Results.
Joining him on the itinerary of speakers
will be Wendy Vinson, who has conducted several informative and
inspirational programs over the last seven years for the E-Myth
Company. She will devote her session to Working on Your
Cleaning Business and Your Life.
Jay Lehr, Ph.D., an authority on
groundwater hydrology, is also scheduled to be at Atlantis to
offer his viewpoints on Freedom vs. The Environment. He will
discuss how the industry can deal with environmentalists’
challenges without government interference.
Rounding out the gathering of guest
experts will be Lois Geller, a marketing mastermind and
award-winning author of books such as Response! The Complete
Guide to Profitable Direct Marketing and Customers For Keeps: 8
Powerful Strategies to Turn Customers into Friends and Keep
Them Forever.
Her discussion will be called Winning
Customer Acquisition and Loyalty Strategies from a Master
Marketer. She will help attendees learn how they can generate
profitable new customers and retain existing ones.
Registration for the program is $250 for
members and $300 for non-members. All sessions will be
presented twice to allow attendees more flexibility in planning
their schedule.
NCA has negotiated a discounted
reservation rate at the Atlantis Hotel. Nightly rooms cost $199
for Coral Towers and $255 for Royal Towers, almost half of what
visitors normally spend. All rooms have a harbor view.
The rates are in effect during NCA’s
program, as well as three days prior and three days after the
event to give cleaners more time to soak up the Bahamas
Islands’ experience.
