IFI bringing its top stars to Vegas
With plans being finalized and registration underway, IFI’s third Five-Star Management Seminar is scheduled for February 26 and 27 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
Although geared toward larger-scale cleaners and the issues they face, the seminar is open to any IFI member looking for better business ideas on how to survive in today’s market. Centered on employee issues, the program will feature case studies and helpful advice on employee relations and increasing production.
The program was selected based on input received from attendees of the 2003 Five-Star Seminar. IFI seeks to tailor the seminars each year based on the needs of those who attend.
Sales trainer and speaker Barry Maher will offer real-world tactics and reality-based motivation in Thursday morning’s opening presentation, “Take This Job and Love It.” Then, top-notch cleaners will share with attendees how they can get their plants in high gear with “Finishing Fitness: How Much Can You Press?”
In addition, IFI CEO Bill Fisher will define “per(c)secution,” projecting where regulatory issues will be taking cleaners in the near future. A panel will also discuss how their alternative solvent choices have impacted their operations.
On Friday, the seminar continues with two more sessions. Leading off will be “Razzle Dazzle ’Em,” in which Rex Carrigan will tell how to monitor customer’s patterns and win their loyalty. Following that will be “Share and Tell” with some of the most creative cleaners around sharing what they do to maintain their customer base.
The seminar fee is $329. A special room rate of $160 a night is available to IFI members until January 28. Mentioning the IFI meeting will secure the group discount rate. To make reservations, contact Caesar’s Palace directly at (800) 634-6661.
For more information, IFI members may call IFI Registrar Susan Bale, (800) 638-2627, ext. 144, or see the January issue of Fabricare.
