McCrory and DFA team up for ND seminar
Dennis McCrory, National Clothesline columnist and president of The Golomb Group, Inc., has been recruited by the Dakota Fabricare Association to deliver a seminar on May 15 at the Doublewood Inn in Bismarck, N.D.
McCrory has been speaking for over 15 years and has an extensive background in drycleaning. He is currently successfully steering the operations of the Golomb Group, a 23- year old-marketing and management-consulting firm based in Chicago, IL. The company assists 250 members and hundreds of cleaners in developing marketing strategies.
During the DFA seminar, he will discuss employment issues, including the recruiting and terminating processes.
McCrory will also draw on his educational background — psychology — to enlighten attendees on testing applicants in order to determine their skill level and potential.
The tools taught in the seminar are similar to a “pre-employment screening kit” sold by The Golomb Group which includes applications for employment, personality surveys, accuracy tests and interview analysis worksheets.
For more information, contact the DFA office by calling (605) 342-6440.
