Coin launderers meet in Washington
The Coin Laundry Association will hold its annual convention  in Washington, DC, July 9-11.  Seminars service schools and distributor/manufacturer workshops are planned for the three day meeting at the Washington, DC, Grand Hyatt Hotel.
Topics at the Friday session will include maximizing safety and minimizing risk; advancements in card and coin systems; washer and dryer improvements; utility savings and the “free dry” controversy. Saturday sessions will feature discussions of financing options and small business trends and Sunday will provide garment care tips from experts. Service schools will be held on both Saturday and Sunday.
Convention registration is $449 for CLA members and $549 for non-members. The registration fee covers all of the seminars and service schools, educational materials, a cocktail reception, three continental breakfasts and a networking luncheon.
On Thursday, July 8, preceding the convention, CLA will sponsor an all-day session on Coin Laundry Basics for Beginners. Cost for the Friday session is $175 for CLA members and $225 for non-members.
