TexCare seminars
Texcare International is expecting around 240 companies to be ready to exhibit when the show begins its five day run in Frankfurt, Germany, June 6.
The organizers, Messe Frankfurt, are planing to welcome some 17,000 visitors to the trade show and will be ready to provide them with the latest in expertise, new products and trends in the industry.
Practical knowledge will be given in 25-minute lectures at the Texcare Forum, a program being organized by the Hohenstein Institutes and WFK Research in Krefeld.
Speakers from Hohenstein will discuss a range of subjects including laundry hygiene in the age of SARS, quality criteria for leasing textiles, correct care labeling and profit maximization in a time of declining revenues.
The lectures will be held during the mornings from Sunday, June 6 to Wednesday, June 9.
Topics for the WFK Research Institute will include hygiene management in European laundries, validating washing processes for protective clothing and reports on experiences with monitor testing systems.
These programs will be offered during the afternoons of Monday, June 7 and Wednesday, June 9.
Admission to all lectures, which will be translated simultaneously into English, is free.
Also on the program is the Eco Forum, a seminar on the environmentally friendly treatment of textiles, which is being organized by the Europeoan Textile Services Association and Euratex and will be held on Wednesday, June 9 from 2 to 5 p.m.
A detailed program of TexCare events can be found on the show’s web site, www.texcare.messefrankfurt.com.
May 17-20, 2007, in New Orleans; and June 1-4, 2009, in Las Vegas.
Exhibit sales already are under way for Clean ’05 in Orlando.
Exhibitors who participated in Clean ’03 in Las Vegas received a prospectus in May. Additional mailings to previous exhibitors and others who have expressed interest continue in June.
“We are delighted to continue our relationship with Riddle & Associates,” said Cotter. “The company’s knowledge and experience with trade shows, and particularly with the Clean Show and its unique exhibitor package plan, are invaluable and have contributed much to the success of the Clean Show.”
R&A has served the trade show industry since 1975, working with a number of the nation’s largest expositions. The firm was named show manager starting with the Clean’03 show in Chicago.
The Clean Show has grown to be the 97th largest trade show in North America, according to Trade Show Week Top 200.
Officially titled the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, the biennial Clean Show attracts all segments of the industry, including coin-operated laundry and drycleaning establishments, and industrial and institutional laundries.
Educational sessions on business management, technology and environmental issues are offered in conjunction with the show.
In addition to TCATA, show sponsors are the Coin Laundry Association, the International Fabricare Institute, the National Association of Institutional Linen Management, the Textile Rental Services Association of America, and the Uniform & Textile Service Association.
Clean ’03 last August in Las Vegas attracted over 16,500 people with 538 companies exhibiting in 250,150 net square feet of exhibit space. Exhibitors are encouraged to sign up early for Clean ’05 to secure their desired position on the show floor. Space is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
