SEFA makes plans for Savannah show
Almost 90 companies have already reserved space to exhibit at the South Eastern Fabricare Association’s 2004 Southern Drycleaners Show, scheduled to take place on the weekend of July 24 and 25.
The event will take place at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center, located at One International Drive in Savannah, GA.
The exhibit hall will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Registration costs $10 per plant owner for those who sign up prior to June 16. The cost goes up $5 for cleaners who register at the show.
Plant employees pay only $5 each to attend; non-exhibiting allied trades pay $50 a piece.
Rooms will be available at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort at One Resort Dr., or the Courtyard by Marriott at 415 W. Liberty St.

UniMac offers three seminars in Florida
One advanced and two basic training sessions for UniMac on-premise laundry equipment have been planned in the coming months.
All three programs will be held at UniMac’s World Training Center, located in Marianna, Florida.
The first Basic Service Training seminar is scheduled for the week of July 26-30 and it will focus primarily on UC and UX washer extractors.
Later in the year, another basic seminar emphasizing UW washer extractors will he held from November 15-19.
Both are recommended for new to intermediate service technicians.
An Advanced Training seminar is set for the week of Sept. 20-24 and is recommended for seasoned technicians or students who have completed the basic training.
UniMac’s service training experts will demonstrate proper laundry equipment operation and offer in-depth discussions on installation, maintenance and diagnostic methods.
Additionally, attendees will gain a greater understanding of how to read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, understand and diagnose electromechanical and microprocessor controls and learn all types of AC inverter drives used on UniMac OPL equipment.
All students will receive a plant tour, product manuals and a certificate of attendance.
