Clean moves up in trade show ranks
The Clean Show moved up to No. 88 in Tradeshow Week’s list of the 200 largest trade shows in North America for 2003. The 2001 show was ranked No. 97 by the publication.
Rankings are based on the number of net square feet of exhibit space in a show. Clean ’03 in Las Vegas had 250,150 net square feet of exhibit space, with 538 exhibiting companies. There were 16,526 people in attendance. Since the Clean Show is biennial, it is only included in the Tradeshow 200 rankings for odd-numbered years.
“We are really proud of this prestigious honor,” said John H. Riddle, president of Riddle & Associates, the show’s management company.
“This show has held its own while some other trade shows have not fared as well in recent economic times,” Riddle added.
The Clean Show is the world’s premier exposition for the commercial laundry, drycleaning and textile rental industry. The announcement came just as exhibit sales for Clean ’05, scheduled for June 23-26, 2005, in Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center, are getting under way.
Six national and international trade associations sponsor the Clean Show: Coin Laundry Association, International Fabricare Institute, National Association of Institutional Linen Management, Textile Care Allied Trades Association, Textile Rental Services Association of America, and Uniform & Textile Service Association.
