Golomb Group to divulge secrets
of “one-price low price” cleaning
Cleaners trying to gain an edge in a
competitive marketplace have their work cut out for them
— especially when it comes to deciding whether to cut
prices.
The
Golomb Group hopes to give
plant owners a forum to “Learn the Secrets in One-price,
Low-price Drycleaning” at a three-day session planned
from October 22-24.
The weekend workshop will be at the Hilton
Suites in Oak Brook, Illinois and will feature informative
testimony from several industry members across the county who
have successfully offered low pricing at their
businesses.
The list of speakers includes: Gerry
Muhlenforth of One Price Drycleaners in Florida; Kenny Davis of
Chicago’s Discount Drycleaner in Chicago, IL; Walt
Szeezil of Vogue Cleaners in Chicago, IL; Sheila Valdez of
Crystal Cleaners in El Paso, TX; Charlie Collison of Park
Cleaners in Scottsdale, AZ; Gordon Shaw of Hangers Cleaners in
San Diego, CA; George Vaselokos of Poly Cleaners in Oak Park,
IL; Kit Sanders of Startbright Cleaners in Minnetonka, MN;
Roger and Caron Weil of U.S. $1.99 Cleaners in Amarillo, TX;
and Ron Herson of Herson Supply in Gaithersburg, MD.
Kenney Slatten of the Kenney Slatten
Training Company will also be present. His recently published
book “How to Make Big Profits in Fire Restoration”
has already become a best seller.
Several topics will be covered, from the
secret of getting customers insist on pre-paying for their
clothes to how to triple or quadruple every single order.
Additionally, attendees will learn how to
make more money by charging less for cleaning, as well as how
to secure their future in the drycleaning industry.
Educational sessions will run on Saturday
from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4:30 p.m., and from 8 to 11:
30 a.m. on Sunday.
The cost is $695 for the first attendees
and $450 for each additional one. To register, contact the
Golomb Group at (800) 679-5856. For more information, visit
