has introduced its silicone Dream Pad which is made of 100 percent open cell silicone padding that is more heat resistant than latex foam. The company said the silicone pad provides longer life of approximately eight months use under high volume and can reduce labor costs with 20 percent faster drying time.

TULSA, OK — Royaltone’s Ringo is a laundry collar and cuff soil release additive that eliminates hand spraying and squirting of collar solution and waiting to dry. It also eliminates scrubbing shirt collars and cuffs and does away with most rewashing. Ringo works in all laundry wash systems, with any detergent and in either hot or cold water systems.

Ringo cleans heavily soiled and stained shirts in the laundry wheel without build-up or contaminating the laundry system or affecting color. The company said that Ringo is odorless and contains no hazardous solvents, phosphates, bleach, alkalies, acids or ammonia.

One ounce of Ringo is used for every ten pounds of heavily soiled and stained shirts, added to the laundry wheel before the wash cycle begins.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Curtis Toledo’s new AF Series automatic flow, variable speed drive air compressors are designed to save energy by using high-efficiency TEFC motors and by running at the exact speed and operating pressure necessary to meet a system’s air requirements.

Any decrease in air demand corresponds to a direct, linear percentage decrease in power consumption, resulting in significant energy savings.

Other features include a simple to use, color touch screen control capable of calculating accumulative energy savings for each application or system the compressor serves, and a soft start motor control to increase motor life while greatly reducing energy consumption during start up.

Curtis-Toledo offers a complete line of compressors from 5 to 300 horsepower, in reciprocating, rotary screw, portable and oil-less configurations. RALEIGH, NC — IndustrOzone Technologies has launched its commercial ozone laundry system, PolarWash.

With five new model offerings, PolarWash ozone laundry systems are designed to work effectively in cold water, which, in combination with lower water consumption through shorter wash cycles, can result in savings of up to 70 to 100 percent in overall energy usage.

The PolarWash system offers enhanced safety features including a built-in electric surge protector and an automatic turn-off pressure switch for the generator.

PERU, IN — Bryan BH Series electric hot water or steam boilers are compact, completely packaged and wired units with automatic controls and featuring long-life Incoloy sheathed elements. Applications include hot water heating, steam heating, process heating, and supplemental heat for heat pump type equipment.

BH Series Boilers are available with inputs from 60 to 3,000 KW and nominal outputs from 196,000 to 9,800,000 BTUH (6 to 300 BHP). They are built in accordance with the requirements of the ASME boiler and pressure vessel code and are UL listed. Water boilers are 150 psig MAWP and steam boilers either 15 psig or 150 psig. Higher pressures are available.

Each electric element hairpin is field replaceable with no welding, soldering or brazing required. Each hairpin is Incoloy sheathed and industrial size 0.430" diameter. Elements are designed for 75 watts per square inch and are individually installed in a standard ANSI 150-lb. blind flange.

Bryan Electric Boilers are nearly 95 percent efficient at all load levels. Varying loads do not effect the efficiency since the resistive type heating elements are immersed and designed to heat the water directly. With a modulating step control, only the elements that are required to heat the water to the desired temperature/pressure will be energized in order to encourage a balanced load during operation.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Laidlaw has added Enviro-Clean, a detergent for GreenEarth systems, to its detergent line. Enviro-Clean can be used as a charge (1 percent) or injection in any GreenEarth system and will control moisture, make whites whiter and clothes cleaner. It is available in 6 x 1 cases, five-gallon pails, or 20- and 55-gallon drums.

Cherry Hill, NJ — Magic Wand, a spot and stain remover, is available to the cleaning industry from Edwards Creative Products which originated the solid stick spot and stain remover over 35 years ago.

Magic Wand, which comes in an easy to use push up container, is formulated from a 100-percent concentrated blend of selected cleaning compounds and is designed to remove all types of stains. The company said it is especially effective on ink and dye.

The ingredients are non-toxic and safe for washable fabrics.
