East Coast school schedules final courses
for 2004
Only two classes remain on the 2004
curriculum for the East Coast School of Dry Cleaning, located at 1965 West 9th Street in Riviera
Beach, FL.
The first will examine the topic of
wetcleaning on Friday, December 10, breaking down details on
the cleaning method’s sales aspects, chemical processes,
production procedures and garment compatibility.
The class will meet between 11 a.m. and 2
p.m. Students will learn more about wetcleaning volume and
profits, as well as its technologies. Details such as fabrics,
chemistry, wedding gown cleaning and restoration services will
also be outlined.
Later in the same month, the East Coast
school will also present an offering on the subject of counter
training.
The course, which will meet on Friday,
December 18 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., takes a close look at
the most effective communication techniques counter personnel
may employ while they interact with customers.
There will be an emphasis on upselling and
how counter staff can analyze and discuss garments and stains
needing treatment during their initial point of entry from the
customer.
In addition to teaching students about
communication skills and garment recognition, the class will
also look at the roles and responsibilities of counter
personnel.
The standard tuition for both classes is
$250 per person.
The East Coast School of Dry Cleaning,
founded in 2002 by Dan Eisen, Steve Jennings, Rick Watson and
Hydra Ventures, offers an interactive classroom-lab setting
with hands-on practice and instructor demonstrations.
Upon the conclusion of each course,
attendees who successfully meet class requirements will receive
a certificate of completion.
